1-10 October 2021 residential immersion

The goals of this course are to create a more rounded Yoga teacher who is grounded in a systematic approach that connects them to the original intentions of Yoga as a transformational technology and a lifestyle.

Senior Lead Trainer Sannyasi Pragyadhara draws on the methods and techniques of the Bihar School of Yoga in India. This includes the classical branches of Yoga with emphasis on the transformative aspects and lifestyle integration. Students will experience practices from Raja Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Mantra Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga and Hatha Yoga. They will be supported in their exploration through various learning activities and application of yogic principles in daily life.

Pragyadhara says about this module:

We highlight the aspects of yoga that go beyond the physical benefits into the mental and energetic dimension utilizing the Chakra system and its psycho-spiritual dimensions. The systematic approach and practices from traditional branches of yoga are powerful tools for transformation.

The course is an advanced module as you develop a refined awareness of the subtle body and uplevel your teaching skills. The completion of a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training is therefore pre-requisite.

Kawai Purapura is a Registered Yoga School (RYS) that offers 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training + 300 hours Advanced Training. The modules can be taken back to back or as a stand-alone. Students receive a certificate of completion at the end of the training. 300 hours Advanced Training together with 200 hours foundational Teacher Training build up to the RYT500 qualification with Yoga Alliance U.S.
