The Lead Trainer oversees the students’ education and supports individuals in their process. The faculty as a whole is aligned in the same methods and techniques and bring specialist experience and talents to the training. They are experienced Yoga Teachers, conscientious and sincere in their work and passionate about the life-long journey that Yoga entails.
Students will be expected to be sincere in their endeavour to deepen into personal Sadhana and enhance and refine their skills as an embodied Yoga Teacher embracing yoga as a lifestyle. They should be willing to reflect on their behavioral patterns and reactions, to apply yogic principles and practices in daily life and to embark on a journey of transformation.
They will be expected to maintain accurate and honest records of their personal practice and home study and receive mentorship from the Lead Trainer after the training in order to continue their professional development. They will apply the yogic guidelines embedded in the Yamas and Niyamas in both their personal development and in professional relationships.
Kawai Purapura Yoga School provides a safe and supportive learning environment. The venue is fully equiped and surrounded by native bush. The calm ambience provides a training location that supports learning, deeper reflection and the integration of yogic principles. We understand and convey to the students the life-long relationship with yoga and that this Yoga Teacher Training is one of many steps on the yogic journey.
