The Yoga Teacher Training takes place in Whare Kahikatea, a large open space with polished wooden floor, a high ceiling and wood-burning fireplace. The expansive windows look out over a grassy plain, sheltered by a tree canopy, a gentle flowing stream and the Teepee.
The venue is an ideal environment for you to pursue self-exploration, growth as a person and to (re-)discover peace and wellbeing.
Yoga mats, bolsters, cushions and blankets are provided for your comfort while attending the various workshops and classes of your training.
The Prema Centre, at the heart of Kawai Purapura, encompasses two clinic rooms, our reception, dining area, kitchen and lounge. This space has a wonderful ambiance with an open fire place, sunny bush-clad outlooks and expansive decks.
The side kitchen is open for you to make tea or coffee and enjoy it in the lounge to relax and re-charge for your next class.
During your Yoga Teacher Training you are welcome to use Kawai Purapura’s facilities such as the swimming pool, the sauna and the spa. The 25-metre, non-chlorinated, solar-heated pool is the perfect spot to unwind and exercise, especially in the summer season.
The On-site, experienced and professional therapists provide a range of healing modalities to lift your spirits, relax your body and calm your mind. All are holistically based and competitively priced.
Treatments on offer include: massage therapy, reflexology, yoga therapy, acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine and more.
